Reports say that the 51-year-old actress was in a Santa Monica Beach parking lot when she came across a homeless man in a wheelchair. While many A-list celebrities might have simply gone on their way, Jennifer Garner’s response was far from typical.
Garner, known for her down-to-earth nature and generosity, has long shown that her actions speak louder than words. Whether it’s advocating for body positivity, helping preserve her family’s farm, or supporting various causes, she continually demonstrates her kind spirit.
Recently, Garner made headlines for celebrating her father’s 85th birthday by taking him on a ride in his childhood car. This time, however, her actions were focused on a homeless man in need.
After noticing the man in the wheelchair, Garner rolled down her car window to speak with him. She gave him a bag filled with essentials and, noticing he was barefoot, she quickly got out of the car. Garner crouched down and gently put socks on his feet. But she didn’t stop there—she removed her own shoes and tried to give them to him.
When it became clear the shoes didn’t fit, Garner turned to a nearby photographer who had been following her. She asked if he could help by offering his own shoes, and without hesitation, the photographer agreed, giving up his size 11 shoes to the man in need.
Garner’s actions will come as no surprise to those who’ve followed her career. She has long been involved in charitable work, partnering with organizations like Save the Children to support those in need.
In her own words, she has said, “While I did not grow up poor, I was surrounded by it,” explaining her drive to give back to communities in need.
